SA SA (fka Satana Satana) brings dark psychedelic rock, theatrical vocals and hypnotic rhythms inspired by ’70s Peruvian cumbia.
SA SA (FKA Satana Satana) doesn’t intend to sound like anything in particular although the influences are evident. The dark rock riffs surround the tracks with a psychedelic sound bordering stoner music with an esoteric aesthetic. It is said that SA SA is a god to which you pray through music. The vocals are theatrical as a creative impulse with an unassuming closeness to 70s Peruvian cumbia as an electrical ritual where there is a hypnotic rhythm that drags ones body while the synthesizer wrap around the calm of the dark and vibrant. The band doesn’t look to please they find ways to posses and invoke pure emotion that will free you from intellectualism. They are not looking to fit a genre but to open a space through each song
