The stargazer Lilies with Tremours and Rick Bain & The Genius Position
Little Cloud Records and MirrorEye Present
The Stargazer Lilies - “Field and Cep channel the reverb-washed slo-mo of Slowdive and the sparkling ambiance of Air into a lush, guitar-swollen whole”. “Psych- Fuzz Epic”-Spin Magazine
“What your so-called shoegaze is supposed to sound like. Indelible melodies and singing plus great guitar work”.-Brad Laner of Medicine
“The Stargazer Lilies possess a truly widescreen, cinematic sound with crescendoes that build cascading waves of sound enveloping your whole body. The music is a bit darker than standard dream pop fare but that only makes it that much more mesmerizing.” “If you’re in the need of some serious new dream pop -and who isn’t- you can scarcely do better than The Stargazer Lilies.”-Pop Matters
“Modern shoegaze often falls flat because it seems more occupied with getting the sound right and foregoing everything else; The Stargazer Lilies get the sound and the feel right and that makes their album much, much more than just revisiting the past”.-Tim Sendra/All Music
Tremours - formed in Los Angeles in 2021 by the duo of Lauren Andino and Glenn Fryatt. Late night jam sessions in the midst of lockdown uncertainty slowly transformed into TREMOURS creative partnership, driven by the tension between Andino’s hazy, drifting guitars and Fryatt’s urgent, pulsating drums.
South Carolina-born Andino has played with LSD And The Search For God and most recently L.A. Witch as a touring guitarist. Fryatt hails from Portsmouth, England, and has toured as a drummer for artists such as Cherubs, The Montrose Avenue and Ten Benson.
Tremours sees them each newly harnessing and exploring their own creative impulses, inspired by everything from shoegaze to jazz to electronica to literature to looking out at the sea. “Most of our songs center around loneliness. Not necessarily sadness, but the comfort that you can find in being lonely,” says Andino. “It’s when I feel most calm.”
“Live, we have been told that it can be intense,” Fryatt says. “I have no choice but to let go and trust Glenn when we are playing. This is the only band where I've had to do that, and I think that's where our intense stage dynamic comes from -- focusing and trusting one another,” Andino adds.
Rick Bain & the Genius Position – Portland’s Psychedelic Storyteller
For more than two decades, Portland singer‑songwriter Rick Bain has sculpted some of the city’s most captivating psychedelic rock. He first turned heads in 1997 when he re‑created the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds on a 4‑track recorder in his apartment, playing every instrument himself (a feat covered in this early profile). Bain formed the Genius Position and released the hypnotic blend of Pink Floyd‑meets‑Beatles pop Crooked Autumn Sun (2000). The album earned rave reviews from outlets like the Village Voice and L.A. Weekly, and Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre later said it was the album he wished he’d made.
Bain followed with Virtual Heavy Pet (2004), a Brit‑pop‑inflected record whose standout tracks “Welcome To My Daydream” and “Amy Jane” are celebrated in reviews. After stepping back to raise a family and work outside of music (a comeback story told in PDX Magazine), he returned with the shimmering Keep It Glowing (2019) and a 20th‑anniversary vinyl edition of Crooked Autumn Sun in 2020. Today Bain performs only a handful of shows each year with a line‑up that includes his wife Amy Jane on bass and organist/manager Byron Lee. This is a rare chance to witness a true Portland legend in an intimate setting.

The Mistons "are more than just a classically perfect Portland punk band. Lead singer, Sean Croghan, is a bonafide legend. In addition to fronting such iconic groups as Hellcows, Crackerbash, The Pynnacles, Ape Grave, and Jr. High, he is also a gifted abstract artist, producing sketches and paintings that capture all aspects of modern life, from the emotional to the absurd. Drouth with Aerial Ruin and Lividus
Drouth is a Portland black metal outfit pushing the genre’s boundaries with dense compositions, searing intensity, and unexpected beauty. Drawing from the traditions of atmospheric and melodic black metal while leaning into avant-garde structures, their sound evokes both grandeur and collapse—like a cathedral crumbling in slow motion. Drouth’s live sets are cathartic and unrelenting, offering a raw, immersive experience that speaks to fans of bands like Weakling, Ash Borer, or early Wolves in the Throne Room.
Aerial Ruin is the solo project of Erik Moggridge, weaving acoustic doom-folk that’s as ghostly as it is devastating. Known for his collaborations with Bell Witch and his hypnotic solo performances, Moggridge strips everything down to voice and nylon-string guitar, creating a stark, meditative atmosphere. His music carries the weight of loss and the calm of surrender—spiritual, shadowed, and deeply human. If Nick Drake had been raised in a crypt, he might sound something like this.
Lividus is a metal band hard to define. Formed in 2017 by vocalist Uta Plotkin (ex-Witch Mountain) and bassist Connie Wang (ex-At the Seams), the band combines harsh and beautiful vocals with relentless speed, melodic riffs, and unexpected rhythmic turns. Their sound covers a landscape of brutal hardship and wicked triumph. With Rob Shaffer (Dark Castle, Simple Forms) and Christy Cather (ex-Ludicra, Ails) on guitar, and Michael Thompson (ex-Silver Talon, ex-Dearth) on drums, Lividus is a technical, unstoppable force—and a singular presence in Portland’s heavy music scene.

GRAVES (Album Release) with Richard Tripps (CA) and Kieth Damron
GRAVES is the longtime recording project of Portland’s Greg Olin, a quietly influential figure in the Pacific Northwest underground. What began as a lo-fi solo endeavor in the early 2000s has since grown into a full-band expression of Olin’s hushed, emotionally resonant songwriting.
Now releasing music through the esteemed Perpetual Doom Records, GRAVES blends melancholic slowcore, homespun folk, and tape-warped experimental pop into something uniquely intimate and enduring. Olin’s songs—gentle, haunting, and deceptively simple—feel like secrets passed between friends.
This show celebrates the release of the new GRAVES album with a rare full-band performance. Come join us for a night of soft glow and slow burns from one of Portland’s most beloved cult fixtures.
Richard Trips is the solo moniker of California-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Evan Way. Hailing from the wilds of Big Sur, Tripps crafts raw, dream-warped ballads from a tent cabin by the river, channeling the spirit of West Coast outsider folk with a punk heart. His songs sound like transmissions from a parallel reality — warped tape hiss, haunted Americana, and lo-fi confessions stitched together with intuitive, emotional logic. Both vulnerable and visionary, Tripps brings a kind of cosmic campfire energy to the stage: fragile, weird, and unforgettable. Think early Beck if he grew up on K Records and old Neil Young bootlegs.
Keith Damron is a Portland-based singer-songwriter and hospitality professional by day, bedroom musician by night. Blending introspective lyricism and DIY charm, he shares intimate, low-fi demos on SoundCloud that lean into raw storytelling and emotional resonance. With roots in both California and Oregon, Keith’s laid-back yet compelling presence adds a heartfelt layer to the night’s lineup.
