Riastrad with Spina and Cabfighter
Riastrad, SPINA and Cabfighter bring doom, sludge and heavy rock to The Six Below Midnight on October 10.
RIASTRAD - Portland stoner/doom metal built around molten riffs, a heavy rhythm section, and Paige Parker’s commanding vocals. Their self-titled 2026 album pulls from traditional doom, classic heavy metal, gothic atmosphere, ’90s grunge, and stoner rock.
SPINA - Bend stalwarts SPINA conjure metal, doom, hardcore, and punk into their own high-desert heavy sludge. Their debut, EP ONE, was released in February 2026 and is as diverse as the contrasting landscapes of Central Oregon. From the open high desert, foreboding forests, and towering Cascade peaks, their music wanders from nocturne ethereal grooves to stygian sludge explorations with uncompromisingly heavy guitar riffs, melodic bass lines, and crushing drums.
CABFIGHTER - Portland heavy rock drawing from both classic and modern styles, moving through hard rock, doom, prog, and heavy metal. Their 2026 album The Sea Between Stars pairs heavy riffs and captivating melodies with songs about struggle and survival.

Brickbat Mansion: A Night of Dark Danse
After a hiatus, Brickbat Mansion returns for one night only on Saturday, October 24th at the Six Below Midnight.
Founded in 2008, Brickbat Mansion is a long-running Portland club night focused on the swirly/dreamy side of goth music. Known for its "swirly songs for Goths and Gazers," the night explores the intersection of shoegaze, ethereal, goth, darkwave, post-punk, and dream pop, with a particular affection for Cocteau Twins and similar artists.
Expect a mix of atmospheric dance tracks, deep cuts, and special live performances that drift between the dancefloor and the more heavenly corners where goth, darkwave, and shoegaze meet.

Suzanne Perry - is an American vocalist best known as singer and songwriter for the duo of pioneering ethereal wave and dream pop band Love Spirals Downwards.
Her haunting, melismatic vocal style defines the band's signature sound and has influenced generations of dream pop, darkwave, and ambient artists.
In the 2000s, she formed Melodyguild, continuing her exploration of lush, atmospheric music. Today, Suzanne is working on new material with Cris Miller (Melodyguild and Silver Screen) that will be released on Projekt Records, her original label with Love Spirals Downwards, marking an exciting new chapter in her remarkable career.
Venetial Veil (PDX) is a creative duo based in Portland, OR, who, for over a decade, have released a string of EPs and albums exploring a vast array of dark and ethereal sounds.

Chipped Nail Polish with Mckenna Esteb and Frecks
Chipped Nail Polish - Jill started Chipped Nail Polish with just her electric ukulele and a bad manicure. The project came to life in the basements and living rooms of the lively house show scene at the University of Oregon. The friendships formed there traveled up North to Portland where the band now resides.
Inspired by bands like Beach Bunny, Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy, FIDLAR, and Surf Curse, CNP is heavily influenced by the moshy surf punk music of Jill’s teen years, as well as introspective bedroom pop that has captivated her twenties. The result kinda feels like crying in a mosh pit, which is always encouraged at shows.
Mckenna Esteb - Boise, ID based songwriter.
Frecks - “Frecks” is comprised of one twenty-something member named Jayden from Portland, Oregon. Jayden has been writing music since her early teen years and draws inspiration from all aspects of her life. Pulling from concepts of introspection and undying love, she aims to tug on heartstrings with dreamy guitar riffs and haunting melodies.

Centrifugal Force Machine with Glori and Runoti
Industrial techno, darkwave and synth-punk converge as CFM, Glori and Runoti map Portland’s darker electronic underground.
Centrifugal Force Machine - is an industrial techno project from the mind and body of Court Knight, based out of Portland, Oregon — circa 2025. CFM combines components of hard techno and 80’s industrial with lyrics pertaining to death and the desire to die. Their project is entrenched from their former career as a mortician, and the name and visceral energy both draw from that experience.
Glori - is the solo electronic music project/alter ego of Annalisa Rose from Portland, OR. Using hardware synthesizers and sirenlike vocals, she builds restless, shadowy dreamscapes with pulsing darkwave rhythms. Beneath strobing pink lights, black widow beats entwine menace and longing, daring you to dance until you’re dead. Glori plans to release her long-awaited debut EP later this year.
Runoti - is an exploration of darkwave and synth punk. Returning from hiatus with a new EP driven by classic synth sounds and punchy bass lines this show is the first preview of what’s to come.

Erica Rose & The Ragged School create songs that alternate from dark and ethereal to upbeat yet filled with yearning. Both atmospheric and dreamy, Erica Rose’s vocals anchor the sound. Their sound might best be described as if the Jacobites and Nico had a baby. The Ragged School is based in Seattle.
Brady Tucson is a Portland based songwriter, multi instrumentalist, and director whose music blends indie rock with a cinematic sense of scale. His richly layered arrangements weave together sweeping strings, horns, pedal steel, and synthesizers, creating an expansive and distinctly textured sound.
Paired with his affinity for alternate tunings and memorable melodies, Brady’s music feels both adventurous and warmly familiar, reminiscent of Laurel Canyon while carving out a sonic world entirely his own.

The Unclaimed (LA) with CHEEX and The Only Living Boys + Thee Day Walkers
Legendary garage-punk lifers The Unclaimed hit The Six with CHEEX, The Only Living Boys, and Thee Daywalkers.
The Unclaimed are legendary Los Angeles sixties-punk / garage rock cult heroes, originally formed in 1979 by Shelley Ganz and Sid Griffin. Their raw 1980 Moxie EP helped spark the U.S. neo-garage scene, and their sound still hits with fuzzed-out guitars, psych-pop hooks, Farfisa bite, and dark garage swagger. Their 2024 album Creature of the Maui Loon was recorded before Ganz’s passing, and the band now continues with guitarist/vocalist Patrick Cleary, who joined Shelley in the reformed Unclaimed lineup and helps carry the band’s songs into the next chapter. Their first single from the upcoming LP, “Here’s The Door,” is out now, with a new full-length of Shelley Ganz originals due this summer on Outro Records.

Lucky Star - Portland indie rock and power-pop band Lucky Star pairs dreamlike melodies with nostalgic lyricism. Their two-song release Best Thing/Loneliness Is Her Knife arrived in November 2025.
Stella Jones is a Portland- and Eugene-based musician working in an indie folk and folk-rock lane.
First Name Basis is an alt rock band based in Sacramento, CA. Their music draws from a variety of influences, including grunge, world folk, hardcore, and latin.

Portland instrumental post-rock/post-metal band formed in 2012. Their music leans vast, atmospheric, heavy, and melodic, with comparisons made to Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Jakob, Tool, and Isis.
X Suns
Seattle instrumental space-rock/post-rock band formed in 2009. They describe their sound around instrumental space rock, with ties to post-rock, math rock, and post-metal; they’ve cited bands like Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky as influences.
GVTH DVDDY
Portland duo featuring Kevin Robinson and Jake Endicott. Their sound is built around angular guitar, lush synths, driving rhythms, and contemplative vocals, described by press as “the post-rock sound of ungrounded goth.” Their self-titled debut came out via Velvet Blue Music, with follow-up material released in 2026.

Burial Clouds with Arcana and Neatherrealms
Burial Clouds are a Portland post-doom metal band blending doom, post-metal, and psych-doom with heavy, atmospheric songwriting. Their latest full-length, Burn Holy, was released in May 2026, following their 2023 album Last Days Of A Dying World on Church Road Records.
Arcana - Hailing from the Portland/Vancouver area are three thrashy witch babes playing heavy metal with a magickal influence. Inspired by tarot, Arcana is an all female mystical thrash band.
Neatherrealms - Portland, Oregon’s heavy underground, Netherrealms brings together 15 years of history from Joshua Greene and Taylor Robinson, known for their work in Elitist/Bastard Feast and Hands of Thieves. Joined by Jordan Hoff on drums and Alex Huddleston of Tithe on bass, the band casts an ethereal, melodic nightmare across hardcore, d-beat, and crust.
