Heirloom Monsters is the recording project of Dana Lacono. Now based in Portland, OR, Dana grew up East of Eden in Salinas, CA where he formed the Starlite Desperation with Dante Aliano White and Jeff Ehrenberg in 1996. After moving to LA in 2001, Dana played in The Rash Modernaire before rejoining Starlite from 2004 to 2007. Heirloom Monsters gleans the tones and grooves of psychedelic music from its inception in flame lit caves through the acid-soaked ballrooms of the 60s and back to the fractal future.
