Karen Caskets

Three-piece grunge/alternative band Karen Caskets was born during the pandemic when three solo indie-rock/indie-folk musicians decided to turn up the fuzz and form a louder-than-heck sludge pop band. Carl Caskets, Kitty Caskets, and Kieran Caskets draw inspiration from the mythology of Karen Caskets––legendary mortician and embalmer. Debut record out June 2022.
Phone Voice

Phone Voice is the musical project of Portland-based artist and educator Chitra Subrahmanyam. Their sound ranges from soft melodies to grungey swells, the ebb and flow of a psychic storm. In 2021 Subrahmanyam released her debut album Cradle Tape, described as “warm, cozy bedroom rock with lo-fi intimacy and lyric emotion to spare” (Paste Magazine). Phone Voice currently performs live with a full backing band, featuring Aspen Koch (Helens), Breana DePriest (Auntie Whispers), and Joey Gerber (Dogs Like Us).
