TRUST THE WITCH! Late Night Psycho-Ambient Jazz Noir

Lydia Lunch is passionate, confrontational and bold. Whether attacking the patriarchy and their pornographic war mongering, turning the sexual into the political or whispering a love song to the broken hearted, her fierce energy and rapid fire delivery lend testament to her warrior nature. Queen of No Wave, muse of The Cinema of Transgression, writer, musician, poet, spoken word artist and photographer, she has released too many musical projects to tally, has been on tour for decades, working with such luminaries as Rowland S. Howard, Thurston Moore, Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Jerry Stahl, The Last Poets, and Hubert Selby JR. She has published dozens of articles, half a dozen books, translated into 9 languages, appeared in numerous documentaries, conducted workshops, taught at Universities including The San Francisco Art Institute and simply refuses to just shut up. Lydia Lunch The War is Never Over by Beth B, a documentary overview of her relentless output and multiple collaborations beginning in 1977 to the present, is now touring the country and Europe receiving rave reviews and pulling in old and new fans alike.

Sylvia Black (Vocals & Bass) Multi-faceted vocalist/songwriter/musician/performer, and restlessly creative femme fatale is hard to pin down.  You may have last heard Sylvia’s rendition of the classic, ‘I Put A Spell On You’ for Netflix hit series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ or caught her live anywhere from the Roxy Hotel, New York  or touring internationally with the likes of Telepopmusik. Sylvia’s boundless musicality ranges from writing #1 international pop hits to playing bass in a doom metal band, as well as releasing her own albums or originals and haunting covers.

Gregg Foreman (Guitar) has worked with James Williamson of The Stooges, Cat Powers, Lydia Lunch , David J (Bauhaus), Jesse Malin , Lucinda Williams , Martin Rev , Crocodiles (band) , The Gossip, Dead Moon, Linda Perry, Alan Vega and many more.

Drummer KEVIN SHEA started his training in elementary school and continued steadily through his college years at Berklee College of Music and subsequent graduation from New School. He has maintained a relentlessly prolific presence internationally with countless projects in the Rock, Avant-Garde and Jazz genres — including work with God Is My Co-Pilot, Mostly Other People Do The Killing, Rhys Chatham, Talibam!, David Taylor, People (with Mary Halvorson) and ALPHAWHORE (featuring Chris Cochrane and Gordon Beeferman). Village Voice named him 2012’s Best Drummer in NYC. In 2021, Shea moved to Germany after receiving Moers Festival’s 14th annual Improvisor In Residence scholarship. He now resides in Brooklyn, and plays with Lydia Lunch’s hard rock retrospective RETROVIRUS.

Puerta Negra is an electro-punk band in the tradition of 80s Wax Trax!, Cabaret Voltaire, Portion Control, Nitzer Ebb, and Skinny Puppy. The band adopted their name from a song by the beloved norteño band Los Tigres del Norte. Puerta Negra’s lyrics are inspired by the horrors of colonialism, globalization, and nationalism.
