Mike Skill (The Romantics) From his humble beginnings with a beat-up Lyle guitar to international success with The Romantics, Mike Skill's musical journey spans over five decades. Rooted in Detroit, Skill's passion ignited as a teen playing psychedelic rock with friends and evolved through punk influences in New York's CBGB scene. As a founding member of The Romantics, Skill co-wrote iconic hits like "What I Like About You" and "Talking in Your Sleep", blending raw energy and creativity. Despite challenges, his determination and talent continue to shine as he tours with the band today.
