Jack Habegger's Celebrity Telethon is a Portland-based western rock n' roll outfit specializing in top-shelf skronk and twangy guitars at a punk rock tempo. Sides splitting with junk shop melodies, cattle calls, and swamp-sludge grooves, JHCT is one of the Northwest's most militant proponents of "The Root Damage Movement," or "The Anti-Psychedelic Music." They've traded in their torches and pitchforks for saxophones and cowbells, but next time their naysayers may not be so lucky.
